CALIFORN-I-A --- Here we COME!!!!

Well, just as I finished that last post, my sick baby woke up. I went down the hall to get her some medicine and his phone buzzed. I didn't answer it -- I hardly even answer MY phone, let alone HIS; but then I saw the number was a California number. So I did what any good wife would do and waited for them to leave a voicemail message and then listened to it! :-D It was the Air Force base calling to tell Dave that he got permission to have him as a primary candidate and that he thought he was a really strong candidate and really wanted him working for/with them and was glad that he is able to get him in! He also said something about not knowing if he had been contacted by anyone else and wanting to make sure (afraid of the competition he said he wanted to follow up and move on things as soon as possible to square this away for Dave). YIKES!!!!! Well -- now the test of my faith on that last statement and I resume the A to Z analysis of how I'm going to make it through living in California -- the Mojave Desert. Oh. Dear.

Oh -- and I guess I should probably find some way to let Dave know about all of this! ;0)
